SERVICES
From design to production
Easy Form connects your ideas with a complete production setup.
DESIGN
In our CAD department, we offer design and engineering solutions tailored to the customer’s wishes and needs. Easy Form uses the software CATIA for 3D modeling, which then forms the basis for the milling blanks. In this software, various analyses of the product are also carried out, including defining the surface, draft angles, and possible assembly of the product.
After approval from the customer, the drawings will be finalized and prepared for production.
MILLING OF PLUG/MASTER MODEL
Based on the 3D drawings of the product, Easy Form’s milling machines are programmed to mill plugs/master geometry with high precision.
Easy Form has two of Northern Europe’s largest 5-axis CNC milling machines, capable of milling plugs/molds up to 26 meters in length, 7.5 meters in width, and 4 meters in height.
A plug, also called master geometry, is the first physical model of a finished product.
All plugs are produced on a foundation of steel. Common to all the plugs is the emphasis on creating strong and stable plugs. The choice of materials and composition ensures that the surface is homogeneous and stable.
SURFACE FINISH
We specialize in providing comprehensive surface treatment for plugs and master models. Our process includes:
- Sanding: We meticulously sand the surface to ensure it is smooth and ready for further treatment.
- Priming: Applying high-quality primer to enhance adhesion and prepare the surface for paint.
- Painting: Using durable, high-performance paint for a flawless finish.
- Polishing: Polishing the surface to a high gloss, ensuring a sleek, professional appearance.
This service is ideal for creating high-quality prototypes or master models that require precision and durability.
MOULD PRODUCTION
Easy Form can produce molds in a variety of materials and for many different purposes, such as traditional GRP moulds, RTM light moulds, concrete moulds, and more.
All moulds are produced with a special polyester that compensates for possible shrinkage formations during the curing process to maintain the highest possible tolerance.
All moulds are produced with stable reinforcements in steel, which are welded in-house.
PROTOTYPE
Easy Form produces prototypes in both large and small scales. Typical production techniques in this department include hand lay-up and vacuum infusion using materials such as polyester, epoxy, and carbon.
The large production hall makes it possible to produce large parts that can be transported either by land or sea.
When producing prototypes, we focus on using our experience to provide effective technical solutions to meet the customer’s wishes or needs.
